"Bicolline Before the Fire." Museum-Quality Matte Paper Poster
Some years ago I attended an event called Bicolline. I went to "Old Town" and found a beautiful spot to paint. For two hours or so, I painted this scene while standing in the shade of the medieval style buildings watching attendees go to and fro, and a little girl make a purchase from a vendor. There's always mud puddles because of the rain, but that day was sunny. Sadly, this area no longer exists. A fire broke out and these buildings no longer grace the area. I can't imagine how the owners felt from the loss. But at least this place still lives on in this painting. I hope sharing this can bring some joy to those who were saddened by the fire.
